There was no reason given other than they believed it was in the associations best interest. We will miss all of you. Remember that we can still help you with your rentals and sales. You have our contact information so keep in touch. March 15, 2011 The Annual Meetings will be held on May 14, 2011 at The Comfort Inn. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 1:00. There will be light refreshments and a few door prizes. Please try to attend. November 12, 2010 Great News for those of you who may be thinking of doing a re-finance on any of your loans. The banking institution that serves the needs of Dunes South Home Owners Association has provided a valuable coupon for you to use. September 3, 2010 2:52 PM For those of you who are wondering, Dune South faired Hurricane Earl without any major damages. The new sandbags and sand dune line really saved the resort. There wasn't any trash scattered around the resort. No sand to dig out from under the houses and no standing water under the houses or in the parking lot. It was still raining when I left the resort about an hour ago so there is a little water around. But nothing compared to what we would have seen without that protective barrier of bags and sand. The resort will be open and accepting check-ins as normal on Saturday, September 4, 2010. I hope all of you survived this storm as well as Dunes South. Click on the virtual tour to see the new outside photos. The duct work in Unit 307 and 308 were checked for mold. The contractor (S.N.A., Inc.) stated "there is no visible signs of mold" in the duct work. SNA are water damage specialists that routinely test for mold and mildew. They are located in Kitty Hawk, NC.
